Over their careers, the Springhill principals have transacted over $5 billion in multifamily real estate investments working with a myriad of both institutional and private investors.

Most recently, Steven was the Head of Sales and Program Management at Katerra, an industry-changing construction technology firm based in Silicon Valley. Part of Katerra’s founding executive management team, Steven grew the firm’s revenue from $0 to over $2B in five years.
Prior to founding Springhill, Steven was the National Head of Multifamily for Cushman & Wakefield, the third largest investment sales firm in the world, where he was responsible for managing a national team of 75 investment brokers. Before that he was the Chief Investment Officer at Pacific Urban Residential, one of the most successful private multifamily investment firms on the West Coast. During his time at Pacific, he directed the acquisition of over 100 individual assets with a value of $2.4 billion. He started his career at Blackrock, one of the largest real estate asset management firms in the world.
Steve holds an MBA in Real Estate and Finance from The Anderson School at UCLA as well as a Master’s Degree in Organizational Behavior and a Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology from Stanford University. He is an active member of both the National Multifamily Housing Council (NMHC) and the Urban Land Institute (ULI) where he currents sits on the Multifamily Silver Product Council.

Bill has been in the multifamily business for the past 44 years. He initially owned a boutique investment brokerage where he brokered over $2.5 billion of apartment buildings to high net worth individuals, institutions and family offices.
As a principal he has owned and operated apartment buildings in the San Francisco Bay Area. In 2008 he started buying buildings in Portland, OR for his own account.
Bill is a member of the Policy Advisory Board of the Fisher Center for Real Estate at the University of California, Berkeley.
He was the 2017 President of the National Association of Realtors, the largest trade organization in the world.
Bill graduated from Santa Clara University, BA, Business Management.
